Lakeshore High School Titan Band

Parents and students,

The LHS Titan Band will be attending the school’s first ever football play off game on November 11, 2011.  We will be leaving directly after school on Friday so please make sure your son or daughter has money to eat and all of their uniform accessories at school with them on Friday.  Please check your email for more information.

Just a reminder: This is a mandatory event for ALL band and color guard students.  We are representatives of the school and it is our duty to be there to support our team and our school.

We will not be attending the Lakeshore vs. Miller McCoy game this week. Please update your calendars and remember rehearsals are still a go for this week.

Tuesday- Full Band and Color Guard 3-5

Wednesday-Nothing

Thursday- Practice 3-3:30, Pep Rally 6:00-7:15 (in Pep Uniform)

Friday- Game Day, 5:45 Call Time

Congratulations to Tyler Hanson for being the first student EVER to make the Louisiana Music Educators’ Association All-State Honor Concert Bands! Tyler competed against the best percussionists from around the state and turned out to be the 4th best percussionist in the state!!!!!!  All of his hard work, dedication, and practicing has certainly paid off.  Please check your calendars and try to support Tyler and the other fantastic musicians on November 21, 2011 at the Crown Plaza in Baton Rouge.

Tyler Hanson was chosen as one of four drummers to represent District IX at the 2011-2012 Second Round All State Auditions.  Tyler will audition against the best of the best from each district for a few coveted spots in the 2011-2012 Louisiana Music Educators’ Association All-State Bands.
