The marching band is the most visible ensemble performing at all LHS football games, Christmas & Mardi Gras parades, community events, and more. Recently, the Titan Band had the honor of representing Louisiana in the 2018 National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, DC. Since the schools inception, the marching band has set a reputation of excellence in competition on the field and in parades.
The Titan Jazz Band has gone through several changes over the years from combo to stage band. In 2019, the Jazz Band started to make public appearances at community events and had planned to compete in their first jazz festival in 2020.
The Indoor Percussion group is the youngest of all ensembles, starting in 2019. The group has shown immense growth and promise for the future.
All students are required to participate in the Lakeshore Symphonic Band in order to receive band credit. The band performs two annual concerts, one in the Winter and one in the Spring. They also participate in the LMEA District XI Large Ensemble Assessment and have consistently received superior ratings since 2017.
The Winterguard program made its school debut in 2018. Competing in the Scholastic Regional class of the Louisiana-Mississippi Color Guard & Percussion Circuit. This past season, they were definitely a crowd favorite.
The indoor marching Winds group started at Lakeshore in 2018 also participating in the LMCGPC. In 2019, they placed third at championships in Scholastic A class, receiving the bronze medal.
